iPhone is disabled - What to do?
If you put a lock code in you iPhone and when trying to open you iPhone, you entered the wrong code three times, your iPhone is disabled. Do not worry, a simple solution below will help you open your disabled iPhone.
- Connect you iPhone to PC with iTunes.
- Open iTunes and click restore.
That’s it, your iPhone is not anymore disabled.

Yeah, It Still doesnt work as i am not using my iPhone with my old computer, it doesnt register atall it just says ‘iTunes could not connect to your iphone becuase it is locked with a passcode..’ I dont know my password, I forgot it

My iPhone is kinda in a mess
U c I’m trying to download apps from iTunes
I do have an iTunes account but the problem is when I enter it it says, please connect to iTunes. I have done that a couple if times but it is not working

you all probably solved your problems or restored by now. but just for future purposes, the easiest way IF you remember your password is to try and sync the phone with itunes on the same computer you have been using your phone with. and right after the iphone display “sync in progress”, you can slide to cancel and the problem is solved. no need to restore.

My colleague just messed up. entered wrong password. now it is disabled.
It does not connect to itunes on my new laptop it says “cannot connect since it is locked with a passcode”

how about this: my girlfriend’s iphone wasnt showing up as a device under my computer (vista and 3gs). I opened device manager and disabled the iphone thinking that I would then be able to enable it. However it was gone, thus couldnt be enabled. (originally found it under portable devices under the name iphone or something–now it sometimes shows up as a camera, but without the option of enabling it. and it claims its working fine.) also, I uninstalled the apple usb section of device manager (forums said to do this and to reinstall it, again, its gone completely). I think that this has to do with my having disabled the iphone entirely. Now it doesnt show up anywhere. I know everything else is working: My iphone shows up in itunes on my computer and hers. Her iphone wont show up in itunes on either computer. Any thoughts?
I found an iPhone and no one claimed it nor could I call anyone as they had a lock on the phone. It has been 2 1/2 weeks and I have decided to keep the iPhone, but I want to use it as an iPod touch as I already have an iPhone.
When the phone is on the screen states the iPhone is disabled.
When I connect the phone to iTunes I get the following message:
“iTunes could not connect to the iPhone “iphone” because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the iPhone before it can be used with iTunes.”
Any help or advice on how I can enable the phone would be great.

iphone is disabled and i restore it to factory setting with 3.1.2 firmware but when i jail break it to use with other carrier base band is too hight and my sim card is not working …
you should keep press the menu buttun until iphone restart than he will ask you to connect i tunes
