Apple iPhone is not recognized in iTunes Windows

When you connect your iPhone to the PC and it will not list in the source list, you have a problem. If you experience this kind of problem, make sure you check the followings:

  1. Check the battery. When you connect your iPhone to the PC and it says” Charging… please wait” , it means that you are low in battery. Just wait until it has sufficient power to connect to your PC.
  2. Make sure that your PC requirement is met. Refer to the manual for PC minimum specification.
  3. Ensure that your PC drivers especially graphics and audio are updated. Refer to the manufactures of your graphics and audio cards website for updated drivers.
  4. Check your USB connections. If you have more than 1 USB port, try to connect to different USB port.
  5. Verify iPhone driver/service installation. USBAAPL.SYS is used as iPhone driver. This USBAAPL.SYS is automatically installed when you install iTunes. If they are not installed, try to reinstall your iTunes. Download the latest iTunes here. If re-installing latest iTunes does not solve the problem with USBAAPL.SYS, try download USBAAPL.SYS directly.
